Priority Areas
Our Approach

Innovation, inclusiveness, transparency and integrity are key components of Ansys’ culture and values. Building high-quality, innovative products is the core of our business, and we are committed to creating sustainable, long-term value for our key stakeholders: our investors, customers, employees and partners. We are also responsible for sustaining and improving the environment in which we function.

We are committed to having a positive impact on the lives of people and improving the sustainability of the planet through our products and practices.

Governance:

Our ESG program is overseen by our Board of Directors through its Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee
The program is implemented by a cross-functional ESG committee with membership from across the company’s functions. The committee is led by the company’s General Counsel.
Selected members of the ESG committee oversee the company’s environmental sustainability efforts through sub-committee.

Practices & Policies

Our environmental sustainability statement is a constant guide for us as we look for ways to provide technology solutions towards sustainability goals of our customers as well as aiming to operate our business in ways that continue to reduce our environmental impact.
This global commitment emphasizes our endeavors towards occupational safety and health. Employee well-being and a safe and healthy work environment is important to us. In a traditional office environment, we believe all employees share the responsibility for maintaining such an environment.
Our global human rights policy sets forth our commitment to respecting human rights and freedom as part of our corporate values. We support globally recognized human rights in addressing the risk of adverse effects on the human rights linked to the company's business operations.
This global policy regulates lobbying as well as political contributions on behalf of the company. The company did not engage in any direct political contributions, including ballot measures, 527 groups, 501(c)(4)s, or independent expenditures, in 2019, in the United States. The company currently files disclosure reports as per applicable law in the U.S. with the Clerk of the United States House of Representatives. Advancing Sustainability Through Our Products

Simulation solutions save raw materials and ultimately reduce our customers’ carbon footprint by replacing physical testing with digital testing and accelerating time to market. But perhaps more significantly, when used as part of the design and development phase, simulation can help Ansys' customers build effective and efficient products that are integral to meeting the environmental sustainability needs of the future. Applying engineering simulation solutions reduces cost, shortens time to market and reduces risk of failure by improving product quality.

Investing In Our People And ONE Ansys Culture

Managing a global, diverse, and skilled workforce is a critical part of our business. Ansys believes in giving back to the communities in which we work and reside and in areas aligned to our business through our community relations efforts.

Operating Responsibly

We are striving to reduce the environmental and climate impact of our operations by measuring, analyzing, and reducing our resource use and emissions. We’re committed to reducing our emissions and have set a goal to reduce our scope 1 and 2 emissions 15% by 2027 against our 2019 baseline. We also acknowledge our customers’ expectations of data security and respect for their privacy, as well as the need to ensure business continuity and unwavering adherence to business ethics and integrity.

Collaborating With Stakeholders

We will continue to engage with our stockholders, customers, employees, communities, and other stakeholders through feedback, engagement surveys, and by supporting the communities in which we live and work. We believe collaborating with our stakeholders supports our business success.
